Louis is Head of the Professional Practices Group and lead partnership tax partner at Horwath Clark Whitehill LLP. He is also Chairman of the firm’s Supervisory Board and chairs the firm’s partner meetings.
His client work is almost exclusively focused on acting for professional service firms and their partners. These clients comprise a mix of both traditional partnerships and LLPs. They cover firms in the legal, property, actuarial and patent agent sectors.
Louis is a member of the Personal Tax Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He speaks on partnership and LLP tax matters at external conferences (e.g. Ark, IBC and CLT) and has articles published in the professional press on this subject area.
