Gavin Foggo is a partner in the Dispute Resolution department at City law firm, Fox Williams LLP, having joined them in 1990. He is a member of the firm's Partnership Law Group and for the last few years has been on the firm's Partnership Board with responsibility for managing the firm. Gavin is a solicitor-advocate (higher courts civil), and he is also the Honorary Secretary of the London Solicitors Litigation Association and a member of the Litigation Sub-Committee of the City of London Law Society.
Gavin handles a broad range of UK and international commercial disputes, and has been advising on partnership issues since the early 1990s. He has acted for numerous partnerships, LLPs and individual partners and members in the fields of law, accounting, medicine, surveying, recruitment, architecture and management consultancy, amongst others. He has advised on resignations, expulsions, reorganisations, dissolutions, team moves, fraud, breach of duty, partner performance, and partnership/LLP management. He has experience of negotiations, mediations, arbitrations and litigation in the UK and abroad, including obtaining or resisting applications for urgent injunctions.
He is rated as a leading dispute resolution individual for partnership law in recent editions of The Legal 500 and the Chambers UK Guide to the Legal Profession.
