Peter Garry is a solicitor at London law firm Keystone Law (www.keystonelaw.co.uk), specialising in partnerships, LLPs, professional practices and other business partnership relationships.  He is also a CEDR-accredited mediator.

As a solicitor he advises on contentious and non-contentious matters for professional firms (including solicitors, accountants, surveyors, architects, doctors) and other businesses (including City financial, property development and care homes) trading as partnerships, LLPs or limited companies, as well as for individual partners and members.

He advises on:

•             A wide range of partnership and LLP disputes (including retirement, dissolution/winding-up, insolvency, discrimination, harassment, bad faith, fraud and other unlawful conduct within partnerships and LLPs, and/or disputed accounts or disputed ownership of assets used in a business (including goodwill).

•             Disputes between limited company shareholders and directors including boardroom disputes, unfair prejudice and other quasi-partnership issues.

•             The drafting of partnership and LLP documentation.

•             Partnership and LLP transactions (leaving and joining partnerships and LLPs, purchases, sales, mergers and LLP conversions).

Peter wrote the Partnerships and Professional Practices Disputes chapter in Sweet & Maxwell’s book, “ADR and Commercial Disputes”, published in 2001, and is a regular contributor of partnership and LLP law articles to various professional publications.
