The aim of the session is to introduce a set of partnerships accounts and highlight differences to a normal set of company accounts. Covering the following:
- Key differences in partnership vs ltd accounts
- Members interest note - what is & what it represents
- LLP Sorp - key aspects to be aware of
- Key accounting items for a professional service firm - ie WIP, Lock up, drawings
LLP v Partnership - Accounts & Companies House perspective
The Up and Coming Group and Back to Basic Workshops are aimed at Members new or in the earlier stages of their practice in the specialism. It is intended to be a forum for less experienced Members to discuss issues affecting their practice and network. There is no strict regulation of attendance by reference to post qualification experience. However, as a guide, we recommend that our Up and Coming/Back to Basics events are suitable for Members with 8 years PQE and less for those involved in the partnership field.
